BODY #Whatsinurcup Coffee Notes ! Share Ur Experience With Ur BODY

This Morning I Woke Up To My Usual Routine Of CoffeeING, I Normally Wake Up To A Cup Of Coffee From The Previous Day, Because Of My Commercial Brewer. I Normally Brew 1 Full 2.2L Carafe. Depends On How Much My Wife Helps Me Drink, I Normally Have A Few Cups For The Next Day.The Reason For This Is I Test The Quality Of Fresh Beans & How Well They Stand Up In A Carafe. These Are My Own Testing Preferences, What Can I Say (Coffee Weirdo).Mind You My Day Old Coffee Tastes Better Than Most Places Fresh Out The Brew Coffee, I Kid You Not!.The Purpose Of This Blog Is For Me To Record My Tasting Notes From When I Decide To Cup :D. Please Feel Free To Record Ur Notes Here As Well Under Comments. They Will Be Useful, That Way We Can Compare Notes From All Coffees! Thanks For CoffeeING With Ur BODY. Now Tell Me #whatsinurcup !? Don't Be Shy Express Your Thoughts! There Are No Wrong Ways To Express How Ur Coffee Tastes, OR How It Makes You Feel.Lets Spill The Beans Shall We?

  1. Kenyan AA French Press~ This Coffee Really Spoke For Itself. I Was Hit In All Directions By The Citrus Notes, I Like To Call It Grapefruit Coffee, Very Nice Body, Very Complex, The Obvious Earthiness, But Then With The Citrus Notes, It Made Me Look To Make Sure I Was Drinking Coffee. I Would Only Recommend This To An Experienced Coffee Drinker,One That Can Appreciate The Bean, Kenyan Has Always Been In My Book A Bean Thats Stands Out. U Might Not Like Kenyan If U Don't Like Standing Out. Kenyan Is Different. If U Ever Want To Experience The Wild Side Of Kenyan Ask 4 It #15 Roast. As Always Remember Depending On The Roast Time, Which Will Vary Roaster 2 Roaster, U May Get More Or Less Notes. That Is With Any Coffee c|_|

  2. Ethiopian Limu French Press~ 4 Starters, This Coffee Had A Really Nice Mellow Aroma, Earthy With A Slight Sweet Potatoe Smell. As For The Taste,Has Amazing Citrus Notes, Some Subtle Berry Accents. Nice Acidity, If Compared To Kenyan, The Citrus Notes Aren't As Powerful, Has A Real Pleasing Aftertaste. 1 Last Thing To Note, That The French Press Method Isn't For Beginners It Brings Out The Truth In A Coffee, Over Grind Under Grind Over Steep Under Steep, Can Ruin A Coffee Experience. I Like The Press, Because Most Of My Clients Use Regular Drip Pots. I Can Gauge The Roast With French Press, If I Get Good On The Press I Know It Makes And Excellent Drip IMO.If U Decide To Take A Trip To Ethiopia & Wanna Try This Experience Ask 4 It #15 Limu. I Use # Because I Don't Roast All Coffees The Same Times, Nor Do I Roast The Same Coffee The Same Times. I Custom Roast Not Like Most. It's Been Fun Till Next Time. I Hope Ur Enjoying Ur Cup Of Goodness c|_|

  3. I just drank some BODY Ethiopia Harrar! It was delicious, of course. To preface, I'm a Starbucks barista and was raised on the Starbucks dark roast. When I opened the bag, I was surprised at how brown the beans seemed. I'm used to seeing dark, BLACK beans because I work with it everyday. I didn't know what to expect. But it was good! Harrar had a blueberry smell. It reminded me of a Starbucks Sundried Ethiopia Yirgacheffe my friend brought me from a Clover store in San Francisco. When I tasted it it was tart, earthy, blueberry. It had a clean finish, if I remember correctly. When I drank it, it made my mouth water, so I'll describe it as juicy. (As I type this I'm drinking some BODY Kenya AA, and that is juicy as well! Feels like I'm drinking some grapefruit juice.) The Harrar didn't necessarily have a heavy body, I'd classify it as a medium body. Very good. I wish I wrote this down as I was tasting it because I'm doing it from memory. But very nice. You surprised me by showing that beans don't have to be roasted so dark. Look forward to learning a lot through this blog. (BTW, to anyone who's reading this, I'm a #15 in my roast type.)

  4. Ethiopian Harrar French Press ~Lets See This Coffee Was Roasted Last Wed If I'm Correct, It's What I Call Harrar #15. The Smell Of A Subtle Earthiness, Lemon, & Blueberries Flying All Around, Very Pleasant. From The First Sip I'm Greeted By The Earth, Then Jabbed By The Citrus Notes ,As A Friend Said, Juiciness, because I Makes Ur Mouth Water! After The Mouth Watering Affect Tones Down, Nice Blueberries Just Start Showing Up For The Party, Leaving A Nice Finish Or Closing Act From The Symphony. Not So Heavy On The Body Side, Nice Mellow Citrus Aftertaste, Not As Overwhelming As Kenyan & Limu. If U Like The sound Of This Song, Be Sure & Ask For It Harrar #15. Enjoy Ur Coffee!

  6. Ethiopian Chelba, French Press.
Just love this coffee as a press. It gets all sweet and fruity if you let the brew just cool off in the cup.
    Nice mouthfeel.

Shared this brew with my co-workers and they were amazed.

  8. I love drinking coffee, at home in the morning with milk, in the afternoon pair with biscuits, after dinner, maybe meeting a friend at a cafĂ© and asking for a “cortado” (while doing a “C” with the thumb and the index finger and they will know what you want) which is the way we call a macchiato in Argentina... I enjoy every moment with a cup of coffee but, and this is an important but :) I had never in all those coffee moments and cafes got to smell and taste a coffee like this Ethiopian hand crafted coffee from BODY...I don’t know much about the tasting part of it but wow the smell it’s so nice! and this new flavor for my tongue it’s just great! every cup of this coffee has so many flavors on it, it was like a pandora box for me but with very good things inside... I’m really happy I got to try it! :)

  9. I learned a profound lesson. I was presented with a beautiful cup of BODY Yirgacheffe. Flavors I never thought possible (from coffee) poured into my mouth from this cup of joy. I wanted the moment to last forever, but in trying to control it and prolong it I ruined it. Now it's cold and it's not the same. So now I get it. Take the time to FULLY enjoy the beautiful moments in life because they will pass. Lesson learned.

The Sidama coffee is Sublime with its Distinct in its Flavor -Citrus, spice & Chocolaty

the Harrar is basically the Fine Wind of coffee with it's Fruity blueberry note

Yirgacheffe Lemony Goodness in a Coffee cup, best in a Mokapot

and Limu with it's Cherry Hints

the all fantastic in their own ways, Art in a Coffee Cup

  12. Today I Enjoyed A Coffee Roasted By @Coffee_Couple Tanzania PeaBerry. The Roast Was Medium Dark,Home Roasted With A Behmor 1600. The Beans Had Slight Oil In Their Appearance http://twitpic.com/5g4hnv. I Choose To Use Single Cup Pour Over, With A Grind Setting Of Not Quite(Fine) Using My Commercial Bunn Grinder. For The Smell Aroma, There Was A Slight Citrus Smell, Little Dusty/Earthy, Also With Slight Berry Fragrance. Now For The Taste, Coffee Had An Overall Smooth Presence, The Acidity Was More Subtle, Wasn't As Bright Or As Pronounced, As I Had Remembered, Still Seemed To Be The Characteristics Of A Slower Roasted Coffee,I Detected Some Underlying Berry, Some Earthiness, But Not Too Many Descriptors, Over All A Pleasant Cup Of Coffee. I Also Received A Few Green Beans From Joe @Coffee_Couple So I Will Be Roasting, And Further Evaluating This Bean In The Future For A Full #BODY CDC Cup Evaluation. Thanks To @Coffee_Couple For The Surprise, I Look Forward To Discussing This Bean In Detail! Check Out Joe Brand Here @ http://coffeecouple.net/
